Must...have...new....iMac
Mac hardware has always been priced at a premium over what you really get in terms of performance and flexibility.  Their strength has come through integration and elegance of design.

Well the new iMacs released today are just jaw dropping incredible.  And the specs, while still a little pricey, make sense when you basically realize they are applying laptop type design into a sleek desktop package that's the definition of simplicity.

I have not done very much PC gaming in the past year because the Xbox360 experience is so good.  I've become spoiled by gaming on a 50 inch widescreen with surround sound, etc.  But there are some PC games coming out that won't be ported to consoles that I might be interested in too, so I have been casually looking into getting a new desktop PC because my myriad of notebook computers aren't powerful enough graphics wise to run games.

I think the iMac is it. The Radeon 2600 Pro might not be the beefiest graphics card in the world but it's DX10 and should provide a very decent experience. I don't know if bootcamp supports Vista ultimate 64bit yet but as soon as it does I'm snatching one of these up.

(The Vista Ultimate is for the gaming, yes I do intend to use the Mac OS on the machine as the primary OS on that machine, just for fun's sake)
